Summary Description

The Pine School is seeking an enthusiastic individual with a proactive and positive attitude to assume the role of Head Coach for our Varsity Track & Field Team. This leadership position entails overseeing all facets of the track & field program. Working closely with a collaborative athletic department, the head coach will receive ample support to effectively communicate, strategize, and execute a thriving varsity track & field season and program.

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Plan and lead daily practice after school.  
  • Coordinate and communicate weekly schedules in collaboration with the Athletic Department staff.
  • Supervise students off-campus as needed for practices and competitions while positively representing The Pine School to the larger community.
  • Lead the team and program with a commitment to nurturing student-athletes, taking advantage of the opportunities to build character and confidence through sport.  
  • Work through time to build sustainable success with Pine’s track & field program.

Professional Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have a demonstrated history of success in coaching track & field at a competitive level. Experience in contributing to the development of successful programs is highly advantageous. Strong organizational skills are essential. Above all, The Pine School seeks a coach who thrives on working with high school students and is dedicated to supporting student-athletes within a college-preparatory educational setting.
